摘要
The paper presents the results of a study, with 2,785 participants, about information behaviors and values concerning health in the Brazilian scenario during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Information Orientation (IO) model developed by Donald A. Marchand, William J. Kettinger and John D. Rollins was used as a theoretical basis for this study, complemented by the Information Use models of Taylor and Choo. Such behaviors and values relative to information are proactivity, transparency, integrity, sharing, monitoring, formality, and use. For the development of this study, characterized as quantitative of an applied nature, it focused on the component 'informational behaviors and values'. Data collection was carried out through the application of an online questionnaire distributed by email, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. The descriptive analysis of the data obtained was carried out using the statistical software Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS).The results indicate that the integrity of information is the dimension of greatest attention by the respondents, followed by information use, proactivity in relation to information, monitoring of information, formality regarding information use, information sharing, and transparency regarding information use.
