摘要
This review delves into the complexities of AI implementation, emphasizing the pivotal role of fostering trust through responsible regulation, transparent standardization, and comprehensive education. Many of these challenges highlight the necessity for robust monitoring of AI performance while allowing adaptable policies to accommodate the dynamic nature of AI technologies. The authors proposed collaborative efforts across professional organizations, institutions, and individual clinicians to overcome the barriers of AI integration while upholding patient safety and quality of care. Otolaryngologists need to acquire the ability to responsibly select, apply, and oversee AI technologies. Otolaryngologists with AI literacy can proactively engage in national and local initiatives to influence the trajectory of AI implementation within our specialty.
