摘要
This paper presents an optimal operation of an offshore wind hydrogen system. The proposed system is designed to feed an Egyptian island in the Red sea with electricity, hydrogen and water. The water supply is applied using water desalination unit. The optimization is applied to achieve two objectives which are minimum operation cost and maximum income from selling of water, hydrogen and electricity. The optimization process is applied using Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship (QSAR) algorithm for the first time outside the drug design field. Two case studies are considered for the electricity demand and wind speed namely typical summer and winter days respectively. The results proved that QSAR algorithm drives the system to higher revenue and less cost than other state of the art techniques mainly from income of selling hydrogen.
