摘要
We introduce a new fifth-order A-WENO scheme based on the low-dissipation central-upwind numerical fluxes recently proposed in [A. Kurganov and R. Xin, preprint]. We apply the developed scheme to the one- and two-dimensional Euler equations of gas dynamics and illustrate its performance on a variety of examples. The obtained numerical results clearly demonstrate that the proposed A-WENO scheme is as robust and at the same time more accurate than the existing A-WENO schemes, which are based on alternative central-upwind fluxes.
