ZIF-8 supported Ag3PO4/g-C3N4 a Double Z-scheme heterojunction: An efficient photocatalytic, antibacterial and hemolytic nanomaterial

摘要
A simple in-situ incorporation approach was used to create a heterojunction-based nanocomposite of ZIF-8supported Ag3PO4/g-C3N4. 3 PO 4 /g-C 3 N 4 . The synthesized material was analysed using various characterization techniques, including XRD, FTIR, SEM, XPS, and UVDRS, along with all synthesized pristine (ZIF-8, Ag3PO4, 3 PO 4 , and g-C3N4). 3 N 4 ). The appropriate dispersion of the Ag3PO4/g-C3N4 3 PO 4 /g-C 3 N 4 compound across the ZIF-8 surface was confirmed through all the characterizations. The photocatalytic activity of pristine and composite materials has been evaluated using the antibiotic drug norfloxacin (NOR). Ag3PO4/g-C3N4/ZIF-8 3 PO 4 /g-C 3 N 4 /ZIF-8 nanocomposite exhibited the highest photo- degradation efficiency of 94.8 % under visible light after 90 min, along with effective antibacterial activity against two ESKAPE pathogens, A. baumannii and K. pneumoniae, as compared to pure ZIF-8, g-C3N4, 3 N 4 , and Ag3PO4, 3 PO 4 , and with no hemolytic activity. Overall, Ag3PO4/g-C3N4/ZIF-8 3 PO 4 /g-C 3 N 4 /ZIF-8 nanocomposite demonstrates a promising catalyst for water remediation and biomedical applications.
