摘要
Th earticledescribestheprocessofdevelopingandtestingthe "CriticalThinkingDis-positions" (CDT) tool. Criticalthinkingdispositionsrefertoaperson'spredisposi-tions, tendencies, orreadinesstoimplementcriticalthinkingskills. Th erelevanceofstudyingandmeasuringCDTisreflectedintherelationshipoftheconstructwiththepsychologicalcharacteristicsofapersonandhissuccessinvariousfields. Also, dis-positionsareimportantforthemanifestationofcriticalthinkingskills: apersonwithlowdispositionsmaynotdemonstratecriticalthinking, evenifitisexpressedatahigh level. Currently, thereisalackofvalidatedRussian-languageinstrumentsdedicatedtoCDT. Th epurposeofthestudywastodevelopaCDTinstrumentandtestitsvalidity. Descriptionsoftheconstructintheresearchliterature, analysisofexistingtheoreti-calframeworks, andtoolsformeasuringcriticalthinkingdispositionsareprovided. Th einstrumentisaself-reportquestionnaireincomputerformat. Th erespondent'staskistoassesshowsimilarhisbehaviorineverydaylifeistothatdescribedinthestatements. Th equestionnairewastested, basedonthedataobtained, thefactorstructureandthequalityofthedevelopedtaskswerechecked, andconvergentandcontentvaliditywasassessed. Th eresultsofpsychometrictestingsuggestthatthedevelopedinstrumentisareliableandvalidwaytoassesscriticalthinkingdisposi-tionsinRussian-speakingpeopleover 16 yearsofage. Limitationsofthisstudyandpossibledirectionsforfuturedevelopmentsarediscussed
