Citizens' intention to use e-governance in Iran: the challenge of e-good governance implementation

摘要
During COVID 19, many governments have been aware of the advantages of utilising information and communication technologies (ICTs). It may be challenging to reach e-governance objectives. One of the reasons for the failure of implementing successful e-governance projects, is the lack of citizens' participation and acceptance so this paper aims to overcome this challenge by developing the e-governance acceptance model in Iran. Based on TAM structure, the conceptual model has been tested by structural equation modelling (SEM). The convenience sampling technique was used to select the sample of 469 Iranian citizens who used e-governance service. The findings show all e-governance service quality dimensions, except for security and trust and emotional engagement, positively and significantly affect perceived usefulness. Except for security and trust, other dimensions also positively affect perceived ease of use. The results show, the positive relationships between perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use with the intention of use.
