The impact of personal archives in historiography: a case study of Allan Kardec's legacy in the digital era

This paper aims to investigate the impact of personal archives on the reconfiguration of historiography, highlighting the relevance of these collections in a context of digital transformations. Based on reflections from Derrida and Foucault, it questions traditional objectivity. Using Allan Kardec's personal archive, from the Soci & eacute;t & eacute; Parisienne des & Eacute;tudes Spirites, and the Revue Spirite as examples, the article explores the importance of documents It begins with a theoretical-methodological discussion, analyzing the production of Kardec's archive and its influence on Spiritism, with a focus on the organization of purported spiritual messages. It uses primary sources, including manuscripts, to understand one of the Kardec's works, the production of Genesis and the continuity of the doctrine after Kardec's death.
