摘要
Hydrodynamic theory of hypervelocity penetration is widely used to describe the penetration of long rods because of its simplicity and computational efficiency. In this paper, the penetration resistance is evaluated from the crater size generated by hypervelocity impact and is combined with one-dimensional analytical model to predict DOP (depth of penetration). Then, a computational formulation for change of energy per unit DOP is derived and the influences of different parameters on DOP are analysed. At last, in the multi-layer target, the effect of the layer arrangement is considered from the energetic point of view. The method for determining the effective arrangement of material layers with maximum energy variation is proposed. The validity of our approach is confirmed by comparing our analytical results with the AUTODYN results and literature.
