摘要
The present text addresses teacher education in early childhood education within the scope of Resolution No. 02/2019, which establishes the National Curriculum Guidelines for the Initial Teacher Training for Basic Education (BNC-Formacao). It analyzes the context of producing this policy, problematizing the intricate relationship between teacher education and curriculum policies, focusing discursive flows that connect changes in education and curriculum to the improvement of educational quality. Through bibliographic and documentary research, it provides considerations on the production of policies for childhood education and the challenges posed by the realization of this constitutional right. It argues that initial and ongoing teacher education policies for early childhood education are closely related to curriculum policies, highlighting interconnections between Early Childhood Education, curriculum, and teacher education.
