摘要
YouTube stands as the premier video-sharing platform in the USA, boasting over 2 billion daily views. Despite YouTube's declaration of using machine learning algorithms to curb misinformation, research indicates a notable deficiency in the quality of health-related content shared on the platform. We sought to evaluate the quality of skin self-examination videos on YouTube and compare them to the recommendations of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Cancer Society.
