摘要
This comprehensive review explores recent advancements in the application of modified ceramic membranes for oily wastewater treatment. Various modification methods, including sol-gel, dip-coating, surface grafting, blending, hydrothermal synthesis, and chemical vapour deposition, have been successfully employed to enhance the surface properties and antifouling performance of ceramic membranes. The incorporation of hydrophilic materials, photocatalytic nanoparticles, and electrochemically active components has led to the development of active and passive antifouling membranes with excellent oil removal efficiency and permeate quality. However, challenges remain in terms of the scalability, long-term stability, and the treatment of complex oily wastewaters. Future research should focus on cost-effective and scalable fabrication methods, robust and regenerable surface modifications, and the integration of ceramic membranes with other treatment processes for enhanced performance and sustainability. With continued advancements in material science and membrane technologies, modified ceramic membranes are expected to play an increasingly important role in addressing the global challenge of oily wastewater treatment and environmental protection.
