摘要
This paper discusses the method on how to construct and analyze the indeterminate strut-and-tie models (ISTMs) for glass fibre reinforced polymer (GFRP) reinforced concrete (RC) deep beams. This paper focuses on how to properly model the concrete struts including their sizes, stiffnesses and strengths that relate to the softening factors. The predicted ISTM results are compared to the test results. Conclusions and recom-mendations on the application of ISTM for concrete reinforced with linear elastic brittle reinforcements are provided.
