摘要：

This article discusses a specific aspect of the Georgics , poem written by Publius Vergilius Maro in the first century BC. Thus, by going through his four Books one by one, we hope to establish that the author frequently depicts plants, animals, and humans as beings with shared characteristics. Furthermore, the proximity of being and feeling enables for the expression of empathy among the characters in the poem.
