摘要
The geopolymer foam wood composites (GFWC), which are prepared from fly ash and wood flour, have high compressive strength and capacity for humidity control for potential applications in the construction industry. The compressive strength, apparent density and porosity of the composite were discussed by the relationship of properties and structure. The ability of the moisture absorption and desorption of the different composites were compared under different humidities at room temperature. The results showed that when the moisture content of wood flour is 15 %, the GFWC2# has a compressive strength of 15.8 MPa and the equilibrium moisture content is 15.0 % at 97 %RH. With better miscibility between the two constituents at 15 % moisture content, the interfacial bonding between the wood cell wall and geopolymer enhances the compressive strength of GFWC2#. Its comprehensive properties have broad application prospects in the field of construction.
