摘要
A novel cost-effective capacity enhancement method for resilient optical networks is proposed that introduces supplemental multi-band transmission and sharing of extended bands by backup paths. Numerical simulations confirm 17.7-35.3% enhancement on three real topologies. (c) 2024 The Authors
