摘要
In 2020, a regionally organized population-based prostate cancer screening was launched for the first time in Sweden, covering all steps from the invitation to the discussion of biopsy findings. By September 2023, 8 of 21 regions had already initiated corresponding programs. Researchers are now analyzing initial data on the feasibility and effectiveness of tumor screening, including participation rates and diagnostic results.
