Treatment challenge in a patient with massive hemoptysis: The need for superselective embolization

Double-origin right bronchial artery is a rare anatomical variation with varying presentation. Patients can be asymptomatic, but in case they present with hemoptysis, such anatomical variations may lead to clinical dilemmas. In this case report, we describe a young patient who presented with massive hemoptysis and was treated with superselective embolization. To the best of our knowledge, double-origin right bronchial artery has been rarely described in the literature. Herein, we aim to highlight the importance of understanding the anatomy and the variants of bronchial arteries.
