摘要
The article discusses some foreign and Russian projects related to the prospects of innovative technological development of maritime transport. Shipbuilding companies, in accordance with the international convention on the Prevention of environmental pollution from ships, are forced to impose strict requirements on the operation of marine engines in order to reduce harmful emissions of nitrogen oxides, sulfur, carbon, soot into the atmosphere during the combustion of marine diesel fuel. The development and operation of hybrid marine power plants is becoming relevant; search for and use of alternative environmentally cleaner fuels on ships: methanol, liquid hydrogen, liquefied natural gas, biofuels based on vegetable oil, solar energy, wind energy, nuclear fuel, etc. In order to increase the efficiency of marine vessels, reduce the cost of maintaining ships, ensuring fire safety, etc., firefighting robots, robots for cleaning ship hulls from algae and marine organisms are being developed. In order to reduce the impact of the human factor on the safety of navigation, unmanned naval vessels are being developed.
