摘要
This article seeks to construct a narrative perspective that emphasizes the value of memory as a fundamental element for the notion of truth in contemporary Brazil. Firstly, the development of a more theoretical perspective on the construction of memories stands out, where one of the central concepts is the notion of underground memory to configure a case study. Secondly, the case study is illustrated with testimonial narratives about missing people during the Brazilian military dictatorship. To establish this link between a theoretical perspective and testimonial elements, critical historical methodology is used, with documentary research, enabling the intensity of the case study and its theoretical aspects. The importance of the testimonies of peripheral actors for the renegotiation of the State after the authoritarian is concluded.
