摘要
In this letter, aiming to advance infrastructure-to-vehicle (I2V) communication for smart cities, critical in 6G research, we design a cell-free backhaul network that uses a hybrid free-space optic (FSO)/terahertz (THz) system to communicate between streetlights as access points (APs). This setup promises low latency and high data rate which is necessary for a 6G structure. By examining outage probability, we showcase the system's efficiency boost and further enhancements through an proposed switching-combining method. Additionally, we assess the system performance in varied weather, highlighting our network's robustness and adaptability.
