摘要
Medulloblastoma is the most frequent cerebral tumour during childrenhood (25%). The usual localisation is the cerebellar vermis. The extra-axial localisation of the cerebellopontine angle is rare. The authors report a case of extra-axial cerebellopontine angle medulloblastoma in a 12 year.s-old boy, right-handed with a 2 weeks insidious onset of headaches, dizziness, and a right deviation at the standing position and walking. The patient underwent a ventriculoperitoneal shunting, a sub occipital retro mastoid craniotomy with total excision of the tumour during the same narcosis, followed by chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The evolution was uneventful. The histopathological diagnosis was desmoplastic medulloblastoma/nodular, CNS WHO grade IV.
