摘要：
<正> There is a strong correlation between the dinitrogen stretching frequencies (in cm-1) andthe solubility factor values of transition metals in the complexes of dinitrogen and thesemetals. Crystal structure of these metals also plays an important role. The stability of thecomplexes can be better rationalized from these two factors than from the relative positionsof the metals in a group/period of the periodic table.
