摘要
Educational innovation is a highly relevant topic in the field of educational research. It is a multisignificant concept and, therefore, its interpretation can be diverse. Based on this idea, we present a study whose main purpose is to analyze the perceptions of the student teachers of the Faculty of Education of Segovia (University of Valladolid) with respect to the concept of educational innovation. The study is framed within the qualitative methodology and the data collection is obtained through interviews. Specifically, four group interviews were carried out in which two dilemmatic situations were presented. As a result, a light and simplified conception of the meaning of educational innovation is obtained, relating it mainly to the incorporation of something new, such as "innovative" technologies and methodologies. This situation reflects a lack of reflection on the concept of educational innovation, understood as a task of social transformation, and insufficient initial teacher training in this respect.
