摘要
Seakeeping performance of a floating dock under the berthing of two replenishment ships was studied though numerical simulation and towing tank test. Physical models of the floating quay and the supply ships were designed, roll damping of which was obtained through the free decay test, and used to modify the numerical model. RAO curves of the floating dock were obtained through regular wave tests under incident angles of 90, 135 and 180 degrees respectively, and compared with that by the numerical model based on three-dimensional potential flow theory and ANSYS-AQWA software. Performances of motion and mooring system of the floating dock are analyzed. The results show that sea-keeping performance and anchoring performance of the floating dock meet working requirements in the target operation area. © 2022, Editorial Office of Ship Building of China.
