摘要
Three kinds of industrial waste water named Xiqi, Liuhuang and Tanhua were added to the anodic electrolyte of coal slurry electrolysis system in order to analyze the effect of industrial waste water on hydrogen production from coal slurry electrolysis. The current density-voltage curves before and after the addition of waste water were analyzed. Then the effect of waste water addition on current efficiency and hydrogen production rate, and the effect of waste water volume fraction and stirring speed on the electrolytic current density were analyzed. Results show that the three kinds of waste water do not change the initial electrolytic potential of coal slurry electrolysis, but have great influence on the electrolysis rate. Xiqi and Liuhuang waste water can effectively increase the current density and the rate of electrolysis. The addition of the Xiqi waste water has no effect on the hydrogen current efficiency of coal slurry electrolysis, but the current density shows a rapid increase and then a slight decrease with the increase of the volume fraction of the Xiqi waste water. The rate of waste water coal slurry electrolysis is affected by the stirring rate. The mass transfer and the current density both increase with the increase of stirring rate. © 2019, Zhejiang University Press. All right reserved.
