摘要
Experimental investigations were conducted to examine the heat transfer performance of Mg-Al bimetallic oxide nanofluids dispersed in both water and ethylene glycol. The nanofluids were synthesized and characterized through various techniques such as Scanning electron microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and Zeta Potential. The study primarily focused on evaluating how factors like mass fraction and temperature affect the thermal conductivity, viscosity, and surface tension of Magnesium aluminum bimetallic oxide nanofluids. The findings reveal that Magnesium aluminum bimetallic oxide nanofluids exhibit favorable thermal conductivity. Additionally, the study demonstrates that the thermal conductivity of nanofluids improves with higher nanoparticle concentrations. However, the viscosity of the nanofluid rises with increased nanoparticle content, and decreases as the temperature increases. Furthermore, both water-based and glycol-based bimetallic oxide nanofluids exhibit decreasing surface tension with rising temperature, with glycol-based nanofluids showing a more pronounced decrease compared to water-based nanofluids. These findings offer valuable theoretical insights for the development and practical application of nanofluids.
