The results obtained allowed highlighting in the teacher deficiencies both at the level of knowledge, lack of mastery, skills, skills in terms of research activity. At the same time, it was possible to demonstrate in the teacher, the ignorance of the investigative competences, its importance, purpose to assume with scientific rigor the task as a researcher. This fact prevented effective development of the performance as a researcher, whose work is essential in the educational field to generate new contributions, findings, the resolution of problems that contribute to the progress of science and human development. It was concluded that the basic, methodological and professional competences represent a means that significantly influence the development of skills to carry out the research activity successfully in the scientific and humanistic field. In addition, the management of each of these competences is sustained as an opportunity capable of strengthening the link between the university and the development of society.
