摘要
The clustering analysis of the Durham group is examined using additional data from the Haverah Park array and a series of Monte Carlo simulations. It is concluded that few of the six clusters found by the Durham group to lie close to the Galactic Plane are likely to be true clusters of a type indicative of a point-like source of cosmic rays. We also consider briefly similar claims for clustering of high-energy cosmic rays made by the Yakutsk group.
