摘要
The general properties of fractal systems are described. The processes of growth and evolution of fractal clusters which consist of aggregated solid particles are reviewed. Results of studies of these clusters on the basis of computer simulations are presented. Experimental methods and results of investigations of fractal clusters are reviewed. Information about surface fractal clusters is given and methods to study them are described. Some systems, processes and phenomena which are governed by the same laws as fractal clusters, are analyzed. Aerogels and other porous materials which consist of fractal clusters are considered. The information on fractal clusters is used for an analysis of ball lightning. © 1990.
