摘要
A survey was conducted, to assess employee interest in and need for eldercare training. A significant number of caregivers (74) and non-caregivers (175) indicated interest and identified topic preferences which provided a basis for informational program development. The non-caregiver response suggests that workplace programs may provide opportunities for anticipatory socialization experiences for the caregiving role. Information programs support offers employers an easily administered, low cost option for addressing the caregiver of their employees, and may stimulate employee demand for support beyond informational programs. © 1990 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
