摘要
The article consists of a summary of a workshop lead by the author during the 33rd Scientific Convention of the Polish Psychological Committee, which was held in Poznan in September 2008. The convention was entitled, To live a dignified life...". And was a subject to scientific analysis, research presentation and sharing practical experience. The aim of the workshop, A dignified life.. and eating disorders" was to focus attention on the favourable and unfavourable situations in experiencing dignity by persons suffering from eating disorders, in the private life of the sick, as well as in therapeutic situations. Issues related to labelling and the role of narration in the therapy of patients suffering from psychic anorexia and bulimia are raised. The aforementioned were discussed based on clinical practice and therapy with persons suffering from eating disorders.
