摘要
Photobacterium phosphoreum and Vibrio harveyi luminescence bioassays were performed to evaluate the toxicity of 12 organic compounds in water. The use of these assays as a rapid and low cost method was evaluated as a screening battery for toxic compounds in water. Effective concentrations to reduce luminescence by 50 percent (EC50) for the chemicals tested are presented.
