摘要
The international Space Station Freedom program is moving progressively toward the goal of establishing a permanent outpost in low Earth orbit. Beginning with the attainment of a Man-Tended Capability in 1997, followed by Permanently Manned Capability by the year 2000, unprecedented state of the art facilities will be available to the user communities of each of the international partners for the conduct of life science and microgravity materials research.
