摘要
Development of the Slovak economy is characterized on the basis of the structure and development of the main macroeconomic indicators by economic branches and economic indicators immanent for the transitive and market economy since 1987 to 1990, resp. 1991 according to the available data. Economic development in the year 1992 and its tendencies are analysed on the basis of indicators from different resources. The transition process is evaluated separately for every year - 1990, 1991, 1992 - because of the specific character of every year of this period. The transition process and influence of the non-reform factors determined the slow down of the development and the decrease of the efficiency of the Slovak economy. The other problems are growth of the rate of unemployment and inflation, etc. Some reached structural changes do not solve the structural problems of the economy yet. Structural changes are realized on the microeconomic level and their influence is not evident on the macroeconomic level immediately. It is a very difficult and long-term process requiring support or slow down of the development of some branches, using of the foreign capital, good management, etc. Realization of the structural changes of the Slovak economy requires correct branch - cross-section - and time - aspect of the applied structural changes in the frame of the transition process of the Slovak economy.
