摘要：

This paper highlights the increase of small and unique serial production relative to world production due to the increasing diversification of consumer demand. The enterprises need to adopt the modern methods, techniques and tools to reduce the production costs. These methods and tools have been implemented in several Romanian companies and have generated considerable results.
