While its presence may not be a cause for alarm in most instances, it can sometimes lead to serious consequences if it is damaged. This article will highlights the various types of dens evaginatus, and periodic dental surveillance, which include monitoring of the degree of attrition and tooth vitality to prevent the advanced consequences of additional tooth projections.
