DOMESTIC VIOLENCE II: SYSTEMATIZATION OF COMMUNITY EXPERIENCES AND CONJUNCTURAL ANALYSIS

The aim of this study is to apply a conjunctural analysis to know the reality of domestic violence in the area Casco Central, El Moralito, Colon municipality, Zulia state, during the phase we have designated moment I (systematization of community experiences). Through lectures, workshops, photographic record, conversations, interviews we determine that there are many problems in this community, especially matters related to child abuse and violence against women. Although in the town of Santa Barbara de Zulia (located 20 minutes from El Moralito) the advice of protection of children and adolescents is operating; the parents, guardians and adults responsible for the care and protection of children, do not report the facts of violence. Importantly, ignorance of the laws of Venezuela does not justify its not compliance.
