Resistive transitions and current-voltage characteristics of aluminum doped YBaCuO single crystals containing unidirectional twirls have been investigated. Temperature, field and angular dependences of the critical current and effective pinning potential were determined on the basis of the measured current-voltage characteristics. Temperature and field dependences are discussed in terms of the theory of collective pinning in the presence of thermal fluctuations of vortex lines. Angular dependences are interpreted in the terms of the stepped structure of vortex lines in tilted with respect to twin planes magnetic fields. The absence of the broadening of the resistive curves in magnetic fields are discussed.
