摘要：

This work aims to research the tendencies in linguistic variations that south migrants in Sinop (MT) presents related to the mato-grossense linguistic variations, and if this speech from Sinop presents other characteristics considered typical from this mato-grossense speech, if it reveals a certain stigma or if it can predict, somehow, a possible disappearance of native speech, as showed in Bisinoto. We are interested to know the speakers' opinions and evaluations about the typical speech of the region - the speech from Sinop - aiming to verify if the attitudes showed considering this speech are positive or negative.
