摘要：
A new molecular complex of betaine with trichloroacetic acid was obtained. It belongs to the orthorhombic system with the following lattice constants: a = 26.997(4), b = 7.603(2) and c = 6.007(1) Angstrom. The space group is Pnma (or Pna2(1)). The phase transitions at ca 173 K and 180 K were found by DSC method. The FTIR spectra of powder sample at different temperatures are reported and discussed.
