摘要
In Japan, microwave radio-relay systems cover about 50% of public toll telphone circuits, operating in the frequency bands from 2 GHz to 15 GHz. The equipments which comprise microwave radio relay systems are classified into toll traffic transmitting main equipments and auxiliary equipments. The development of new radio channel switching equipment capable of meeting all the requirements of not only the existing high capacity systems but also of any future ones is reported. It is expected that the standardized system will prove advantageous not only for designing complex radio-relay routes composed of the various stations with different functions, but also for the manufacture of standardized equipment.
