SYMMETRY AS A UNIVERSAL PATTERN

Questions of the following types are considered: How is symmetry involved in our choices, be they deliberate or not? How is symmetry at the source of our mistakes as well as the source of our successful findings? Examples will be mainly from the field of mathematics, with special attention paid to great scholars and great discoveries and inventions. But there is enough reason to believe that similar situations occur everywhere in the field of human creativity.
