The thermochemical properties of the U-Zr alloy system have been predicted by computer analysis of the phase diagram. The thermochemical properties of solution phases were described by a Redlich-Kister type formulation. The high-temperature activity of uranium in the alloys agreed with the recent experimental data. The intermediate phase, delta, was successfully modelled as an omega-solid solution phase.
