摘要：

N-methyl, N-tert.butyl amino ethyl methacrylate was synthesized by ring opening reaction of N-methyl, N-tert.butyl aziridinium triflate and sodium methacrylate. This new monomer was polymerized free radically and also with redox system to give telechelic polymer with pendent amino groups in the polymer back bone. The chemical structure of the monomer and the polymer was determined by IR spectroscopy, H-1-NMR and elemental analysis technique.
