摘要
The influence of steel microstructure on the thermal fatigue resistance has been investigated. The experiments have been performed on the steel C7450. The processes affecting the steel microstructure during the thermal fatigue have been explained. Among the tested steel microstructures the best thermal fatigue resistence exhibited lower bainite and lower bainite combined with rest austenite owing to high resistance to softening during the heating/cooling cycle.
