摘要
Studies on pro-poor growth in Cameroon over the period 1996 -2007 revealed that considering the monetary approach, growth in Cameroon is an anti-poor growth from 1996 to 2001, and slightly pro-poor in the period 2001-2007. By cons, if the analysis is performed according to nonmonetary approach, it was anti-poor in both periods. The report of the fourth Cameroonian Household Survey conducted in 2014 concluded that growth in Cameroon was not inclusive and therefore anti-poor between 2007 and 2014. Why the growth in Cameroon do not succeed to have significant positive impacts on poverty? This article proposes in a prospective and strategic analysis to demonstrate that the difficulties of Cameroon to reconcile growth and poverty reduction is the result of strategies of a low operational pro-poor growth.
