摘要
It is shown that the effective code length (ECL) of a short ECL block modulation code (BCM) is the dominant factor in its performance over a Rayleigh fading channel. To demonstrate this, three new BCM codes are presented as examples. Their performances are evaluated and compared on both Gaussian and fading channels. © 1990, The Institution of Electrical Engineers. All rights reserved.
