摘要：
The dorsal dislocation of the metacarpophalangeal joint of the thumb is caused by a hyperextension injury. The dislocation is complex if the volar plate and sesamoid bones are entrapped within the metacarpophalangeal joint space. This latter is difficult to reduce and often require surgical intervention. A simple dislocation should be reduced only by Farabeuf maneuver to avoid turning it into complex dislocation.
