摘要
This study aims to map the profile of publications in journals and conferences from the accounting area, from 2000 to 2012 on corporate governance. For this, we carried out a survey of descriptive character with documented procedure and quantitative approach to the problem. For data analysis, we used the UCINET (R) software for developing networks, both general and methodological aspects. It was found that the largest number of publications occurred in 2011, and recurring amount was three authors of the study. It was found also that in methodological terms the most prevalent forms in the analyzed studies refer to the descriptive, documentary, documentary analysis and quantitative research. Finally, it is suggested that studies on Corporate Governance should be used more consistently in the Brazilian academia, considering that most studies hovers in general and less detailed aspects.
